B2B Marketing Intern (Summer 2022) (FILLED)

Reason Automation (reasonautomation.com) is a data processing & automation start-up specializing in Amazon analytics and reporting. We are a very small company with a growing omnichannel marketing & sales organization. We prefer to be subtle, earning attention through excellence and helpfulness vs. volume and repetition. We are seeking someone with a similar attitude, creative and formal writing skills, heaps of curiosity, and interest in B2B marketing to join us for an educational & productive summer internship.

What you’ll be doing

1. CREATING MARKETING & SALES ENABLEMENT CONTENT

Our clients are brands that sell on Amazon, including major global brands you have at home. Unlike B2C companies we don’t rely on display advertising on Instagram; our primary channels are SEO, email, and LinkedIn. You will learn what it means to build the brand of a small B2B company and how we find customers. You will leverage that knowledge to create educational guides, case studies, and other content that helps our customers—then amplify it through marketing channels.

  • Collaborate with our content writer and CEO to write, edit, and help publish a variety of marketing content including: email templates, LinkedIn posts, website copy, presentations, customer case studies, ads, video captions, and more.

  • Use analytics tools within each platform to measure your work, partnering with other team members to build reports

  • Use Canva & Figma to help create and edit graphics and other visual elements for your

  • Use Loom to record and edit videos

  • Work with our external marketing agency to create and schedule social content

2. MARKETING OPERATIONS

Reason is <2 years old, which means we are constantly building and improving marketing systems that other companies established years ago. You will help the marketing team implement changes to our website, email automation programs, customer help center, and measurement systems.

  • Under direction from marketing leaders and our CEO: research, propose, and then implement improvements to our marketing automation and attribution systems.

  • Create and update how-to guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other documentation to reflect new changes and help train other team members

  • Our martech stack includes: Squarespace, Hubspot, Zapier, Typeform, Airtable, Notion/Super, and more.
